Sands & Saddles Horseback Experience

This tour guides you through the jungle, and into the quaint village of Pensacola along the sea. Our tour was designed to bring you closer to the tropical flora and fauna under the canopies of Roatan’s jungles, down to the sea.

You’ll experience cool breezes from the azure Caribbean, and ride the verdant jungle paths all the way down to the sea.

If you are lucky you might spot an iguana or an island parrot! Plenty of birds and local fauna can be seen during this journey off the beaten path!

• People with back conditions/injuries
• People with pre-existing medical conditions
• Weight limit: 290 lbs per horseback
• Trousers, or jeans. Half length or longer is recommended
• Shoes or hiking boots are recommended
• Rain jackets or ponchos weather-dependent

- 45 minutes to 1 hour on Horseback Tour.
- 1.5 to 2 hours excursion including shuttle service and guided tour. (Depending on pickup location.)

• 10/20 minutes transport from Port of Roatan, or, 20/30 minutes from Mahogany BayCruise ship pickup between 8:00 to 8:30 a.m
• Hotel pickup apart from 8:30 a.m., with scheduling available throughout the day.
